Project : Making benchtop powersupplies from old PSUs
So me and spoonfork have decided to start a small project for the space. We’re gonna convert some old PSU’s i have into benchtop supplies to keep at the hackerspace. We plan to take afew months and slowly work on the 9 supplies that we have. That is the plan!!!!
We hope to convert all this
into something like this
Before we begin, last weekend i decided that before we jump in and build all 9 in a bulk, I would build a demo set to see how much effort it would take as well as how much it would cost in total.
All in all, it took me 3-4 hours to complete making the demo unit (including all the trial and error + testing), the unit has 3 output voltages (3.3V, 5V, 12V).
