The registration for UNIX-g33ks III has been extended to the 11th of February due to the underwhelming response.
To allow us to run the workshop for 8 sessions, the organizers would need a minimum of 5 paying attendees to make it happen. But looking at the list of attendees, less than half of the 25 available seats are taken up.
With this in mind we have included new payment packages for this series.
- Full Package – RM 350.00 (for non-members only) [handouts, slides, VM image, FreeBSD DVD provided]
- g33k-certified – RM 150.00 (for returning participants only) [handouts, slides provided]
- Student Package – RM 100.00 (students only) [handouts, slides, VM image, FreeBSD DVD provided]
- Pay as you come – RM 60.00 per session [VM image provided]
- HackerspaceKL members – FREE [handouts, slides, VM image, FreeBSD DVD provided on local network]
Note: to sign up as a student, please produce a valid student ID on the first session.
For those who already signed up to attend, these are the following items you will need to prepare
- REQUIRED : A virtual machine environment with sufficient hard disk space to install the VM image provided (VMware player recommended)
- OPTIONAL : An external storage media to copy the slides/handouts
- OPTIONAL: Mobile broadband for your own usage as the space is yet able to register with the ISP due to unforeseen technical difficulties.
